Retro-styled digital chess! As it could have looked on the Gameboy.
Designed for 2-players on one screen.
Controls:
WASD or UP/DOWN/LEFT/RIGHT to move the cursor.
Z or E to select/move.
X or R to cancel.
F to toggle music.

Really did like the game, it's from another perspective so I can practise by seen from differents angles.
This is awesome! It's actually the first time I've gotten to see the chess pieces in action. I especially like your selection cursor, that's a great solution.

I did think it was a real shame they hadn't been used, as they are really cool sprites.
I'm planning on fixing a couple bugs and re-doing the title-screen when I get some spare time.
The cursor was a bit of a head-scratcher tbh, took me a little while to find a solution that was visible from most spots. I had planned on making the cursor match the height of the pieces, too but didn't get around to it.
